After finishing my degree in theology in 1999, I decided I much rather wanted to pursue a career in comics. I already made my debut with the self-published 'How To Get Over Your Ex?', and was lucky enough to get a job in world-famous comics store Lambiek, where I still am webmistress for the site www.lambiek.net. In 2002 I became stepmother to three children, and this gave me inspiration for the autobiographical series 'Kinderleed Komix'. With the experience I got publishing my own comics, I founded Senoeni Comics Productions in 2003, a publishing house for young talent, focusing on the work of comic artist under the age of 18. Until now, Senoeni has published 'Karel de Kat' by Daniëlle Keukenmeester (12), 'Mier' by Pim Steinmann (14) and 'Het Zal Wel' by Agnes van Belle (17).
